Overview Welcome to the Explorers Preschool. We have an open-door policy, and we strive to keep this a fun, learning experience.

We offer two different programs that you can choose from: A 2-day, Tuesday-Thursday program or a 3-day Monday-Wednesday-Friday program. Hours for either program is from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon. Children need to be 2.9 years of age and older in order to enroll.
The school consists of two, large classrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, and also an outside play area.

All centers within the class will appeal to the full range of developmental skills and interest of the children.

We use a weekly, "theme" agenda to plan activities.

  • Open-ended play

Goals

Our Goals for each child will:

  • develop a positive self-image
  • become an active, self-directed learner
  • express themselves verbally
  • learn to function appropriately within a group
  • develop self-help skills to foster health and independence
  • develop fine and gross motor coordination
  • enjoy being a child
  • have FUN!
Staff All our full-time staff are OCCS, CPR and First-Aid certified. We meet and/or exceed State requirements (MA License #8115923).
